Your comments are important to us and form part of the public consultation process for finalising the development proposals.

This website is supplemented by a leaflet which has been distributed to local residents and councillors which summarises the proposals and directs them to this website and the consultation email address below.

This online consultation will run between Monday 16th June and Monday 7th July, however we will continue to review comments received up until submission.

Next Steps

Following this public consultation, we will review the feedback and feed this into the design development process with a view to submitting an Outline Planning Application in Summer 2025.

Once the application has been submitted and registered, the Council will undertake their own statutory consultation process, so there will be further opportunities for you to make comments directly to the Council across Summer/ Autumn 2025.

Beyond that, we expect the application to be determined in early 2026. The site would then be marketed and taken forward by a housebuilder through the submission of a Reserved Matters application, which will provide the detailed design for the scheme including how the houses will look, and there will be a further opportunity to comment at this point. This process would progress through 2026 and 2027, with a view to delivery commencing on site during 2028.
